The Morning Star Descent
THE VENUS MYSTERIES
9 Month Initiation
- Mystiria Mystery School
Commencing at the Venus Star Point 23rd October 2026
with Julia Mander
/ THE CALL
Long before she had a name, Venus was the light we prayed to before dawn.
In the temples of Sumer she was Inanna. In Egypt, the star that walks before the Sun. In the mystery schools, the rose that blooms at the heart of the cross.
Her teachings were hidden, never lost. They lived on in myth and symbol, in the rose, the star and the sacred oils, in the memory of the body.
Now Venus closes a cycle of a hundred years. And something in us remembers.
Perhaps you feel her in the early morning. Perhaps you see the rose everywhere, or a dream returns that you cannot forget.
This is an invitation to follow that call, to walk with the Morning Star for nine months, and to let the rose open within you.
/ FREE THRESHOLD CEREMONY
AT THE HEART OF THE SUN
A live online ceremony before the last Scorpio Star Point
Wednesday 21 October 2026 Ā· 7pm Mallorca (CEST) Ā· 10am PT Ā· 1pm ET
On Zoom, with replay
Two days before Venus enters the heart of the Sun, we gather at the threshold. We honour what this cycle has asked of us, and prepare to receive the new.
A first taste of the Venus Mysteries, open to all.
/ THE CELESTIAL ROSEEvery eight years, Venus draws a five-petalled rose across the heavens.
Each petal takes nineteen months: nine as the Evening Star, nine as the Morning Star, and a passage through the Underworld in between.
We now live the fifth and last petal of this rose.
On 23 October 2026, Venus enters the heart of the Sun at 0Ā° Scorpio. This is the thirteenth and last Venus Star Point in Scorpio, closing a chapter that began in 1926. The next era opens in Libra.
Then she rises in the east before dawn as the Morning Star.
In the ancient myth, Inanna, Queen of Heaven, descends. At each of seven gates she lays down a garment, a jewel, a crown, until she stands in nothing but her truth. The Morning Star walks this descent in the sky. Once a month she meets the Moon, and each meeting is a gate.
As above, so below. What Venus walks in the heavens, we walk in body, heart and soul.
THE ROSE ON THE CROSS
The Venus Mysteries are a journey of the Mystiria Mystery School, rooted in the Gnostic, Hermetic, Egyptian and Rosicrucian streams.
In these traditions, the cross is the human being: the four elements, the four directions. The mystic places spirit at its centre, where understanding meets action, so that the rosebud can bloom into a radiant heart.
The rose Venus draws in the sky and the rose on the cross are one.
In this journey, each gate opens a petal. Each gate is held by one of the Seven Pillars of Mystiria: Remembrance, Alchemy, Initiation, Silence & Gnosis, Living Mystery, Transfiguration, Communion & Service.
The pillars are a spiral, like the path of Venus. We walk them again and again, each time deeper.
The Four Arms of Each Gate
Like the cross that carries the rose, every gate rests on four arms.
I · Ceremony
A live online ceremony at the meeting of Venus and the Moon. The gate is opened in the field we share.
II · Mystery Teaching
The wisdom of the gate, drawn from the Gnostic, Hermetic and Rosicrucian streams. Myth, sacred texts, symbols and the astronomy of Venus.
III · Sacred Practice
The Venus Rose Codes, brought into the body: Venus rituals, sacred movement and embodiment, womb healings and activations, Myrrhophore essential oil wisdom, lightcode transmissions.
IV · Circle
Shared reflection, witnessing and support between the gates. What we receive alone, we deepen together.
The Eight Gates
From the crown to the root, and on into the Great Below. Each gate opens at the meeting of Venus and the Moon in the dawn sky.
